Pastor George Greene, Student Pastor

George was born and raised in a Christian home and for the majority of his childhood lived in the Cleveland, Ohio area.  He
accepted Christ as His Savior at the age of 5 and surrendered to serve the Lord at a later age.  His submission to God’s direction led him to major in missions at West Coast Baptist College.    He furthered his education at Pensacola Christian college with a master’s degree in Bible Exposition.  George married the love of his life, Bridget, in 2016 and together they welcomed their first daughter, Oriana in November of 2017.  George and Bridget began their ministry at Colonial Baptist on May 5, 2019.  Filled with an obvious love and enthusiasm for teenagers, George has dedicated his life as a Student Pastor for Colonial Baptist.  He also is helping in the music department as the Choir Director.    George enjoys sports, both watching and playing.  The Florida Gators are his team through thick and thin, and it’s rare  not to see him in orange and/or blue.  He also loves the outdoors and if you add coffee and a great book, he states that it is almost perfect.

Bridget had the privilege of growing up in a missionary’s home in Ireland for the majority of her childhood.  She accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 5 after hearing her dad preach.  She attended college but now is enjoying being George’s wife and the mother of Oriana.  Bridget is very musically inclined and enjoys the opportunity toe serve wherever she can.  She presently is helping her husband with the teens and also in the music department of Colonial Baptist.  Bridget loves spontaneous trips, playing the piano and singing.  She states that reading books is like breathing air to her.
